Housekeeper — St. Julian's, Malta
About the Role
Our client, an established hospitality property in St. Julian's, is looking to recruit a Housekeeper to join its housekeeping team on a part-time basis. The role covers day-to-day cleaning and upkeep of guest rooms and common areas, laundry and linen handling, and maintaining the property's presentation standards.
The successful candidate will carry out cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming and mopping, manage cleaning supply inventory, report shortages and maintenance issues to management, and communicate professionally with guests throughout their shift.
This is a part-time, on-site position suited to a Malta resident with previous housekeeping or similar cleaning experience who is comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping designated areas.
- Ensure all rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
- Manage cleaning supply inventory and report shortages.
- Handle laundry and linen services as assigned.
- Report maintenance issues to management promptly.
- Maintain professional, courteous communication with guests.
Requirements
- Applicants must currently reside in Malta.
- Previous housekeeping or similar cleaning role experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pre-departure course certificate.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper disposal methods.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and good interpersonal communication abilities.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays when needed.
- Cleaning equipment and chemical handling techniques.
- Laundry and linen care procedures.

- Time management and multitasking across multiple areas.
- Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality housekeeping team is considered an advantage.
