About the Role
One of our clients is a modern, upscale hotel located in the heart of St. Julian's, offering stylish accommodation, premium facilities, and exceptional guest experiences in a contemporary setting. The hotel prides itself on delivering outstanding service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to providing an exceptional experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards and procedures.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
- Clean and maintain public areas, corridors, and back-of-house areas as required.
- Ensure all rooms are prepared and presented to the highest standards before guest arrivals.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or lost property to the relevant departments.
- Handle cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as required.
- Work closely with the Housekeeping team and other departments to ensure excellent guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Only candidates currently residing in Malta or candidates based in Europe holding EU nationality will be considered.
- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality is considered an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
