About the Role
Outreach Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client, who is preparing to launch a new hotel in St Julian's, for an experienced and hands-on Hotel General Manager. You will lead the pre-opening preparations and then oversee the hotel's operations once it opens.
The property will have approximately 60 guest rooms in the 3-star segment and is planned to open in June 2027, subject to project readiness. Reporting directly to the Directors, you will take ownership of the hotel's setup — the opening plan, organisational structure, recruitment and training, procedures, suppliers, systems, rates and distribution, licensing and compliance — and then of its day-to-day performance: guest experience, budgets and forecasts, occupancy, ADR and RevPAR, team development and commercial relationships.
It suits a motivated hotel leader who enjoys building operations from the ground up. The role offers a gross annual salary of €52,000–€55,000 depending on experience and suitability, a performance-related bonus of up to 10–15% of gross annual basic salary, and a company-paid mobile phone. The joining date will be agreed with the successful applicant, sufficiently in advance of the opening.
