About the Role
Our client, one of Malta's leading premium steakhouse restaurants, is renowned for exceptional meats, fine wines, and genuine hospitality. They are looking to recruit a Head Chef to lead kitchen operations and deliver an exceptional dining experience.
The successful candidate will lead, manage and motivate the kitchen team, develop and maintain menus reflecting Mediterranean and Italian culinary traditions, and ensure the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness throughout service.
This is a full-time, on-site leadership position suited to an experienced chef who thrives in a fast-paced, premium dining environment and is committed to culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and service.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Develop and maintain menus reflecting Mediterranean and Italian culinary traditions.
- Ensure the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Manage food costs, stock control, and ordering.
- Train and develop kitchen staff.
- Monitor performance and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

- Significant experience leading professional kitchen teams.
