About the Role

You will collaborate closely with the Sous Chef and kitchen team, manage inventory within your section, and support the training of junior kitchen staff. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring flexibility for shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Candidates must currently reside in Malta.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned kitchen section, ensuring efficient and consistent operation
- Prepare and present dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency across service
- Collaborate closely with the Sous Chef and wider kitchen team
- Monitor inventory levels within the section and communicate shortages promptly
- Ensure proper food storage, labelling, and handling procedures are followed
- Maintain a hygienic workstation and comply with food safety regulations
- Support the training and development of junior kitchen staff
Requirements
- Must currently reside in Malta
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in an equivalent kitchen role
- Background in restaurant, hotel, or high-volume hospitality kitchens
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work under pressure during service
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
