About the Role
Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join their team in Marsa, Malta, maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and order across their premises and assigned work areas.
Day to day, you will clean and maintain offices, common areas and washrooms, sweep, mop and vacuum floors and surfaces, empty bins, clean windows, furniture and doors, replenish cleaning supplies, and follow health, safety and hygiene procedures. You will also report any maintenance issues, damages or potential hazards to your supervisor.
It suits a reliable, punctual candidate currently residing in Malta who takes pride in keeping work areas clean and tidy. Previous cleaning experience will be considered an asset but is not required, and basic communication skills in English are needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain offices, common areas, washrooms, and other assigned areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors and surfaces
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Clean windows, furniture, doors, and other fixtures as required
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or potential hazards to the supervisor
- Carry out other cleaning duties as required
Requirements
- Must currently be residing in Malta
- Previous cleaning experience will be considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible attitude
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Basic communication skills in English
- Must be legally authorised to work in Malta
