Aftersales Receptionist — Gżira, Malta
About the Role
Outreach Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established company within Malta's automotive industry, for a friendly, professional and customer-focused Aftersales Receptionist to join its team in Gżira.
As the first point of contact for customers, you will welcome visitors to the showroom and reception, handle calls and emails, and give prospective buyers general information about vehicle models, pricing and services — while providing administrative support to the sales and aftersales teams.
The position is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and a passion for outstanding customer service. Fluency in both Maltese and English is essential. It is a full-time, on-site role with a competitive salary, health insurance and an employee loyalty card.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers visiting the showroom and reception area
- Keep the reception and showroom clean, organised and professional
- Answer incoming calls courteously and direct enquiries to the right department
- Manage incoming emails and respond within company and franchise standards
- Give prospective customers general information about vehicle models, pricing and available services
- Maintain marketing surveys, test drive records and customer follow-up documentation
- Help check contracts, prepare reports and organise documentation for the sales team
- Update stock information and help promote and sell vehicle accessories and branded merchandise
- Keep brochures, promotional materials and stationery stocked to franchise standards
- Report maintenance issues and follow up with the relevant departments
- Carry out general administrative and clerical duties that support daily operations
- Follow company policies, health and safety regulations and franchise standards
Requirements
- Fluency in both Maltese and English (essential)
- Minimum O-Level standard of education
- Good computer literacy and proficiency in basic office applications
- Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service or similar role is an advantage
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and active listening skills
- A strong customer service orientation and a welcoming, professional appearance
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive, proactive approach
