An established client in Malta is seeking an experienced Wood Painting & Finishing Specialist to apply wood finishes using spray gun (HVLP, airless) and manual methods across interior and exterior wood surfaces.

The role involves close collaboration with the carpentry team to deliver a smooth, durable, high-quality finish on a wide range of wood species, selecting the right products for each environment, including UV-resistant and marine-grade options.

• Apply finishes via spray gun (HVLP, airless) and manual techniques
• Perform sanding, staining, sealing, lacquering, and varnishing operations
• Select appropriate finishes for different environments (UV-resistant, marine-grade options)
• Prepare surfaces for smooth, even application
• Maintain and clean finishing equipment and tools
• Collaborate with carpentry team members
• Execute repairs and touch-ups as needed
• Maintain quality control and workspace cleanliness
• Follow all safety procedures

• Minimum 3 years of wood painting and finishing experience
• Proficiency in spray gun application (HVLP preferred)
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, product mixing, and drying times
• Ability to work with different wood species and adapt techniques
• Responsible, organized, and quality-oriented mindset
• Basic English communication skills
