About the Role
Our client is looking for experienced and motivated Gypsum Installers to join their team in Malta. The role is full-time and on-site, based in Tarxien, with work on a variety of residential and commercial projects around the island.
You will install gypsum boards, partitions, ceilings, bulkheads and other gypsum structures, measuring, cutting and fitting boards to project requirements and carrying out jointing, filling, sanding and finishing for a smooth result.
Previous professional experience in gypsum board installation is a must. The client offers €1,500 to €1,800 per month, based on experience and skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Install gypsum boards, partitions, ceilings, bulkheads and other gypsum structures
- Measure, cut and fit gypsum boards according to project requirements
- Prepare surfaces and ensure accurate and secure installation
- Carry out jointing, filling, sanding and finishing work to achieve a smooth result
- Work from drawings, measurements and instructions when required
- Assist with general plastering and interior finishing works when needed
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within the required timeframe
Requirements
- Previous professional experience in gypsum board installation is a must
- Experience with drywall, partitions, ceilings or similar interior finishing works
- Good knowledge of gypsum installation techniques and materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, motivated and willing to work on different projects around Malta
