Storekeeper — Żebbuġ, Malta
About the Role
Our client is looking for a reliable and organised Storekeeper to join their team in Żebbuġ, Malta. You will be responsible for managing stock, receiving and checking deliveries, organising materials and making sure the warehouse operates efficiently and safely.
Day to day, you will record incoming deliveries, keep accurate inventory records, prepare goods for dispatch, pick and pack orders and assist with loading and unloading, coordinating with other departments on their stock requirements. The role pays €18,000–€25,000 per year, based on experience.
It suits an organised, detail-oriented warehouse or stock professional based in Malta. Forklift experience or a valid forklift licence is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check and record incoming deliveries
- Organise and store materials and products appropriately
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records
- Prepare materials and goods for dispatch
- Pick and pack orders as required
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
- Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised and safe
- Follow company health and safety procedures
- Coordinate with other departments regarding stock requirements
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or in a similar role
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain accurate stock records
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, responsible and able to work independently
- Good physical fitness and ability to handle materials
- Basic computer skills will be considered an asset
- Forklift experience or a valid forklift licence will be considered an advantage
- Must be based in Malta
- Good working knowledge of English (spoken and written)
