Forklift Operator — Żebbuġ, Malta
About the Role
Our client, an established and growing group, is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join their warehouse operations in Żebbuġ, Malta. You'll play a key role in keeping materials moving safely and efficiently through the warehouse floor.
Day to day, you'll operate forklift equipment to move, load, unload and store materials, organise inventory, and carry out routine equipment maintenance checks, all while maintaining strict workplace safety standards.
It suits a certified forklift operator with warehouse or industrial experience who is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely move, load, unload and store materials within warehouse operations
- Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently
- Organise and maintain accurate inventory
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance checks
- Maintain workplace safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Prior forklift operation experience
- Valid forklift licence or certification
- Knowledge of warehouse and material-handling procedures
- Strong safety focus and attention to detail
- Physical fitness and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Warehouse or industrial background preferred
- Must be based in Malta
