About the Role
Our client, a Malta-based business operating within the transport and logistics sector, is looking for a Junior Revenue & Accounts Analyst to join its Finance team in Luqa. This role is ideal for a finance professional looking to develop their career, offering hands-on exposure to revenue analysis, financial record maintenance, and core accounting processes.
Working closely with the wider Finance department, the successful candidate will support revenue reporting, reconciliations, and month-end processes within a fast-moving, operational industry, gaining broad exposure across multiple finance functions along the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly and monthly revenue reports and analyse trends.
- Monitor electronic payment transactions and online sales channels.
- Reconcile revenue across operational and accounting systems.
- Support revenue assurance by identifying anomalies and potential revenue leakages.
- Process journal entries and perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing and financial statement preparation.
- Support audit processes and collaborate with internal departments.
Requirements
- Diploma in Finance or Accounting, or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong English communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
