Front Desk Agent — St. Julian's, Malta
About the Role
Our client, a well-established hotel in St. Julian's, is looking to recruit a Front Desk Agent to join its front office team. The role covers the full guest arrival and departure journey — check-in, check-out, reservations, and enquiries — and is central to the guest's first and last impression of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in and check-out, and welcome guests professionally.
- Handle reservations, requests, and enquiries by phone, email, and in person.
- Provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
- Process payments and cash transactions accurately.
- Coordinate with other departments, including Housekeeping, F&B, and Maintenance.
- Manage guest complaints professionally and follow up as needed.
- Maintain guest records in line with data protection requirements.
- Support front office operations and maintain reception area standards.
Requirements
- Applicants must currently reside in Malta.
- Previous hotel front desk or reception experience is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional and guest-focused demeanour.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
