The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in marine surface finishing, teak deck preparation, and protective coatings application. You will work as part of a skilled shipyard team delivering precise, high-standard finishing work on prestigious marine projects in Malta.

• Apply coatings, sealants, and protective finishes to ensure durability in marine environments.
• Fabricate and install wooden fixtures, trims, decking, and decorative marine elements.
• Carry out precision cutting, shaping, and fitting of marine-grade woods and materials.
• Install, caulk, sand, and finish teak decks to exacting standards with precise alignment.
• Remove and replace worn decking with high-quality surface finishing.
• Design, craft, and refurbish bespoke joinery solutions for cabins, galleys, and salon areas.
• Restore and upgrade existing woodwork and surfaces to superyacht standards.
• Select and use marine-grade, moisture-resistant materials and finishing products.
• Ensure all work meets strict quality, safety, and aesthetic standards.
• Support hospitality and commercial projects requiring premium marine-grade finishing.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in marine surface finishing, yacht refit, or shipyard painting.
• Strong expertise in teak deck preparation, caulking, and protective coating application.
• Proficiency with spray equipment, surface preparation tools, hand tools, and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishing standards.
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
