• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives
• Manage the full purchasing cycle from requisition to purchase order issuance
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, payment conditions, and supplier agreements
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers and strategic partners
• Monitor supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, and reliability
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure timely procurement for ongoing projects
• Analyse purchasing costs, budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Manage sourcing of materials, spare parts, equipment, and technical services
• Ensure all purchased goods and services comply with technical specifications and project requirements
• Lead, supervise, and develop the procurement team
• Prepare regular reports on procurement KPIs, supplier performance, and cost control
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulations

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager, or in a similar senior buying role
• Previous experience within marine, shipyard, industrial, oil & gas, offshore, or construction sectors is a strong advantage
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and project specifications
• Experience in budget management and cost analysis
• Strong leadership, organisational, and analytical abilities
• Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software
