About the Role
Outreach Recruitment Agency is seeking experienced Drivers with a valid Malta Category C License on behalf of our client, a well-established company operating in the construction and building-solutions sector. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transport of materials, equipment, and personnel between the warehouse, suppliers, and project sites across Malta.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive heavy vehicles requiring a Malta Category C License, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of materials and equipment.
- Load and unload goods in compliance with safety and site regulations.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks (oil, tires, lights, safety equipment) and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery and mileage records.
- Coordinate with logistics and site teams to plan and complete daily routes efficiently.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, properly maintained, and ready for use.
- Comply with all Maltese traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Support general logistics operations, including assisting with material handling on-site when required.
- Be flexible to work occasional overtime or early starts, depending on project schedules.
Requirements
- Valid Malta Category C driving license mandatory.
- Clean driving record with no major offences.
- Proven experience as a driver within construction, logistics, or transport.
- Good knowledge of Maltese roads and safe driving practices.
- Physically fit and capable of performing loading/unloading tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious with strong communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility with working hours when required.
