Position Summary The Driver (Licence B) is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of materials, tools, and personnel between company sites, suppliers, and project locations. The role supports day-to-day operations by ensuring smooth logistics and reliable delivery services.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from construction sites and warehouses.
- Deliver and collect documents, supplies, and other company items as required.
- Support loading and unloading of materials in a safe and organised manner.
- Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Ensure company vehicles are kept clean, roadworthy, and compliant with regulations.
- Follow planned routes and schedules while adapting to operational needs when required.
- Assist site teams with basic manual tasks when not engaged in driving duties.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage where required.
- Adhere strictly to road safety laws and company transport policies.
Requirements
- Valid Category B driving licence (mandatory).
- Previous experience in a driving or logistics role is considered an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Maltese roads and traffic regulations.
- Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading and unloading materials.
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Flexible and willing to support operational needs as required.
