About the Role
Our client, a well-known visitor attraction in Mellieħa, Malta, is seeking an experienced Barista / Beverage Server to join its food and beverage team. The successful candidate will prepare high-quality coffee beverages while also serving basic alcoholic drinks to guests in a busy and vibrant hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks.
- Prepare and serve basic alcoholic beverages such as Aperol Spritz, Gin & Tonic, and similar simple drinks.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service to visitors.
- Handle orders, payments, and POS transactions accurately.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the bar and coffee station.
- Ensure all drinks are prepared and served according to hygiene and safety standards.
- Support the food and beverage team during busy service periods.
Requirements
- Previous Barista experience is essential.
- Good knowledge of coffee preparation and coffee machines.
- Ability to prepare basic alcoholic drinks (no advanced cocktail experience required).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Good command of English; additional languages will be considered an asset.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
