About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well established organisation in Malta, currently seeking a detail oriented Accounts Payable Executive to join their finance team.
This role is ideal for someone organised, analytical, and experienced in managing supplier accounts with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- As Accounts Payable Executive, you will manage supplier reconciliations, invoice processing, and payment preparation while ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

- Post general invoices and ensure they match approved quotes and purchase orders
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and transactions
- Liaise with Cost Controllers and suppliers to obtain credit notes when required
- Analyse accruals and prepayments and monitor invoice receipt
- Prepare ad hoc reports as requested by the Financial Controller
- Maintain accurate and organised financial records

- Proven experience in a similar accounts payable role
- Experience working within an accounting office or finance department
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Shireburn accounting software is considered an asset
