Restaurant Supervisor — St. Julian’s, Malta | Full Time | Hospitality
A well-established Mediterranean cuisine restaurant in St Julian’s is seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to support daily operations, manage front-of-house staff, and uphold exceptional guest service standards. This is a full-time, on-site position offering excellent career growth in one of Malta’s most vibrant hospitality locations.
About the Role
As a Restaurant Supervisor in Malta, you will work closely with the management team to ensure smooth, high-quality service across all shifts. You will lead and develop your front-of-house team while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and HACCP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations and maintain smooth service flow
- Lead and support front-of-house staff during service periods
- Ensure high customer service and guest satisfaction standards are consistently met
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and promptly
- Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, and ongoing training
- Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene throughout all areas
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for efficient communication during service
- Support stock control and operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and HACCP regulations
- Help management achieve operational and revenue targets
Requirements
- Must reside in Malta or hold a valid EU residence permit
- Previous supervisory experience in hospitality or restaurant operations required
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Fluent English required; additional languages an advantage
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and public holidays
