Position Overview

As Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, driving creativity, quality, and efficiency. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding cuisine, mentoring your team, and ensuring the restaurant’s reputation remains among the very best in Malta.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all daily kitchen operations to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and efficiency
• Design and implement innovative, seasonally inspired menus aligned with the restaurant’s culinary vision
• Lead, motivate, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and professional environment
• Conduct menu tastings and training sessions to maintain consistency and excellence
• Enforce the highest hygiene, safety, and food handling standards
• Manage supplier relationships, sourcing top-quality ingredients while controlling costs effectively
• Monitor culinary trends and introduce fresh ideas to keep the restaurant at the forefront of the dining scene

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in high-end restaurants
• Culinary degree or equivalent qualification
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Exceptional creativity paired with a passion for delivering unforgettable dining experiences
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Only people residing in Malta
