Sales & Events Executive — St. Julian's, Malta

About the Role

Outreach Recruitment is seeking a Sales & Events Executive to drive private dining, group bookings, corporate events, and special occasions across multiple premium Italian restaurant venues in St. Julian's, Malta. This is a fast-paced, client-facing role requiring strong sales ability, excellent organisation, and a hands-on approach.

The role combines proactive business development with hands-on event coordination, from the first enquiry through to on-site delivery and post-event follow-up. It suits a target-driven hospitality or sales professional who enjoys building client relationships and thrives under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-venue environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage enquiries for private dining, group bookings, and corporate events
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities within corporate, tourism, and local markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, and corporate partners
  • Conduct venue tours and presentations for prospective clients
  • Manage all event enquiries from initial contact through to completion and follow-up
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and event confirmations
  • Coordinate with operations teams for seamless event execution
  • Provide on-site support during key events
  • Work with the marketing team on campaigns and promotions, and assist in developing event packages
  • Maintain accurate records of all enquiries, bookings, and conversions
  • Prepare regular sales and performance reports and track outcomes for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, events, sales, or F&B operations (1-2 years minimum preferred)
  • Strong understanding of event coordination and client relationship management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, energetic, and target-driven mindset
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Strong team player with a hands-on approach
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and event-based hours
