About the Role
Our client, a hotel in Sliema, is looking to recruit a Night Hospitality Agent to manage front desk operations and guest service during the overnight shift. The role combines guest-facing hospitality with night audit and administrative duties, and is central to keeping the property running smoothly overnight.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in and check-out during overnight hours, including late arrivals and early departures.
- Process payments and verify billing accuracy for the night shift.
- Issue room keys in line with hotel security protocols.
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Perform night audit duties, including posting charges, completing end-of-day reports, and preparing systems for the next day.
- Handle cash transactions and balance the cash drawer at the end of shift.
- Report incidents to management or security as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for emergency purposes.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a smooth operational handover.
Requirements
- Applicants must currently reside in Malta.
- Prior hotel reception or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently overnight with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
- Comfortable using hotel systems and handling cash transactions.
- Availability for nights, weekends, and public holidays.
