Kitchen Porters Full Time Contract by Employer Only residing in Malta

Our client, a popular restaurant serving authentic Maltese & Mediterranean cuisine at the heart of the Valletta Waterfront, is looking for Kitchen Porters to join their team and support the smooth running of the kitchen.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for Kitchen Porters. The successful candidates will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, assisting chefs with basic tasks, and ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently and to the highest hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas, including equipment and work surfaces.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.
• Ensure proper storage and disposal of waste.
• Support the kitchen team in keeping stock and supplies organized.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Head Chef or kitchen supervisors.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not essential.
• Strong work ethic and ability to handle fast-paced environments.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
• Team player with a positive and reliable attitude.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is preferred.
• Applicants must already reside in Malta.
