Assistant Credit Controller Full Time Contract by Employer Only residing in Malta

We are seeking an Assistant Credit Controller on behalf of our client. This role involves managing debt recovery, supporting the Credit Control and Operations Manager, and assisting with legal action in cases of non-payment. You will also work closely with clients to maintain smooth account operations and build strong, professional relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and collect debts as directed by the Credit Control and Operations Manager.
• Ensure timely payment of debts and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Respond to client enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Assist with processing and reconciling incoming payments.
• Prepare client statements and monitor debtor balances to reduce outstanding debt.
• Ensure adherence to credit and collection policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams, especially sales.
• Resolve issues relating to outstanding payments, both internally and externally.
• Provide accurate information to relevant internal departments.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as required.
