Audit Senior Full Time Contract by Employer Only residing in Malta

Job Description:

As part of a leading global network of independent accounting and advisory firms operating in over 145 countries, they are known for their strong commitment to client service. Their portfolio includes a wide range of clients, from large, reputable groups to small and medium-sized businesses.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinating the audit engagement from planning to completion within the stipulated time frame and with the required expected level of quality.
• Communicating audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Preparing the financial statements in line with the relevant accounting frameworks including GAPSME and IFRS.
• Developing strong working relationships with the clients.

Qualifications and Skills

• Candidates must be in possession of a university degree in Accountancy, or have completed their ACCA or ACA professional qualification or be at an advanced stage of completing their ACCA qualification.
• Good working knowledge of GAPSME, IFRS, and international auditing standards.
• Candidates must have at least between 1-2 years experience in auditing.
• Be able to work independently and lead audit engagements.
• Be self-motivated and proactive.
• Have good interpersonal skills to liaise professionally with clients.
