Associate Tax Advisor Full Time Contract by Employer Only residing in Malta

Our client is seeking to recruit an Associate Tax Advisor to join a dynamic team. The successful applicant will be part of the tax section and provide tax services to a diverse local and international client base.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting clients in the areas of direct taxes.
• Preparing written tax opinions as required by clients.
• Supporting tax compliance work, including Income Tax Returns and Claims for Refund.
• Liaising with auditors on tax matters.
• Advising and assisting clients on their fiscal obligations and compliance within prescribed time limits.
• Advising clients on the most tax-efficient structuring of their corporate and personal tax affairs.
• Assisting private clients with fiscal obligations under various Tax Residency Schemes.
• Ensuring client needs and expectations are met efficiently and professionally.

Requirements:

• ACCA qualification or equivalent.
• At least 12 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of local and international tax matters.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Maltese; knowledge of Italian is an asset.
