Project Manager – Maritime Industry | Malta
Outreach Recruitment Agency is recruiting an experienced Project Manager for a leading international shipbuilding and ship repair company based in Malta. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to manage complex maritime projects in a dynamic, internationally recognised environment.
About the Role
Our client is a recognised leader in the maritime and shipyard sector, seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee projects from planning through to completion. The successful candidate will coordinate resources, manage stakeholders, and ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables
- Coordinate and manage project resources, timelines, and budgets
- Supervise project teams and monitor performance throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage scope changes and evaluate project performance against defined KPIs
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management
- Support continuous improvement of operational efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Prior project management experience, ideally within the marine or ship repair sector
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills (Italian is an advantage)
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
