Our client, a well-established 3-star hotel located in the vibrant area of Sliema, Malta, prides itself on providing exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for its guests. 🏨
We are currently seeking a candidate who has some experience and can start immediately. The successful candidate will report to the Hotel Manager and work under her guidance and supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Actively and consistently follow the Hotel Reception standard operating procedures.
- Achieve specific goals set by the Hotel Manager.
- Stay informed about developments related to the hotel’s services, especially those related to the employee’s role.
- Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with the job description and company policies.
- Have a thorough knowledge of and proficiency with the hotel’s reservation system and other relevant systems.
- Project enthusiasm and motivation, assisting colleagues when necessary.
- Actively participate in staff meetings and other internal meetings, contributing constructively.
- Greet hotel guests and address any questions or concerns.
- Provide an outstanding guest experience.
- Maintain an orderly front desk and lobby area.
- Assist with setting up the continental breakfast.
- Operate the hotel PMS and POS systems.
- Maintain guest records and manage reservations.
- Complete basic cashier and cash reconciliation responsibilities.
- Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Requirements:
- Pleasant and outgoing personality.
- Computer literate.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in other languages, especially Italian and/or Spanish, is an asset.
