Outreach Recruitment Agency is recruiting an experienced Estimator for an internationally recognised shipyard group based in Malta. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist maritime organisation and contribute to major ship repair and maintenance projects.

About the Role

Our client operates within the maritime and yacht repair industry and is seeking a skilled Estimator to analyse technical specifications and prepare accurate cost estimations for ship repair projects. The successful candidate will work closely with management and technical departments to produce competitive, reliable quotations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse technical specifications and project documentation to prepare cost estimates
• Develop technical and economic data for tender submissions and quotations
• Liaise with management and technical departments to ensure estimation accuracy
• Attend customer and project meetings as required
• Support continuous improvement of estimation processes and tools
• Maintain records of estimations and project data for reference and reporting

Requirements

• Degree in Naval Architecture, Naval Engineering, or a related technical field
• Prior experience in an Estimator or similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• Excellent analytical and organisational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• High attention to detail and strong multitasking capability
