🌟 Join Our Client’s Audit Team – Seeking a Dedicated Semi Senior Auditor! 🌟

Would you like to join our client’s Audit Department? We are currently seeking a full-time Semi Senior Auditor to join this growing firm and Audit Department.

We are looking for an experienced and responsible professional who is capable of supporting the efficient completion of accurate audits and maintaining exceptional levels of auditing quality and financial accuracy.

You should be comfortable co-leading auditing projects of various sizes and be confident to delegate tasks and setting deadlines to other members of the team as and when required, concurrently assisting the audit managers in the successful management of the whole audit team.

An Overview of What You’II Be Doing:

  • Guiding the junior auditors to carry out feedback and reviewing their work.
  • Completing small audits with minimal supervision.
  • Working with the audit managers to plan audits on engagements of various sizes and across various industries.
  • Liaising with clients in relation to all necessary preparations and compilation of documents, concurrently seeking to sustain a productive working relationship with them and support their overall satisfaction.
  • Preparing financial statements and other reporting documents.
  • Be willing to expand one’s own knowledge related to various client industries to be able to establish value enhancing recommendations.
  • Utilizing and keeping up to date with audit technology tools and the applicable firm-related standard software to ensure that all engagement objectives are achieved and service delivery is reinforced.
  • Attending meetings on an adhoc basis with the client, audit managers and/or director.
  • Assist with or handle any other functions in line with one’s job designation and skill set.
  • Understand the Firm’s service lines and actively assess/present ways to apply knowledge and services.

What We Are Looking for in You:

  • Already residing in Malta.
  • Ideally already either ACCA/ACA qualified or in possession of a Masters in Accountancy or a recognised accounting University degree. Applicants nearing ACCA completion are also welcome to apply.
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in the audit sector with a reputable audit and accounting firm
  • Proficiency in GAPSME and IFRS reporting frameworks, as well as International Auditing Standards, is necessary.
  • Must communicate flawlessly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Fluency in any other language/s will be considered as a strong asset.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to learn and enjoy being part of a multinational team of professionals.
  • Be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining an eye for detail.
  • Be fully cognizant with one’s professional liabilities.
  • Demonstrate awareness and knowledge related to the firm’s services and complement them with recommended suggestions to boost services, clients’ satisfaction and professionality.
