Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and customer-oriented Sales and Customer Service Representative on behalf of our client, a leading company in the insurance sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional customer service while effectively managing client inquiries and driving sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality assistance to walk-in customers and intermediaries, addressing their inquiries and offering tailored solutions.
- Update and amend client details as required, ensuring accurate and timely information management.
- Deliver clear and concise product information, addressing client queries with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Promote and sell new insurance products by providing quotations, completing the necessary paperwork, and ensuring the smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Manage various aspects of policy administration, including surrenders, maturities, death benefits, top-ups, switches, valuations of unit-linked policies, and premium payments.
- Handle incoming calls and emails from clients, providing timely resolutions and excellent service in line with company standards.
- Efficiently manage customer complaints received through regional offices, taking ownership of their resolution or escalating through internal channels as needed.
- Process customer requests, update policy records, and ensure all necessary documentation is issued and sent accurately.
- Utilize discretionary authority to offer compensation or redress in critical situations where customer relationships are at risk.
- Provide exceptional service to customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions, maintaining consistency in service delivery.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to close sales and manage customer relationships effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese.
- Strong analytical abilities, with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a CII qualification (minimum Dip CII) or those actively pursuing the qualification.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, while also contributing effectively to a team environment.
