Job Description
We are currently in search of Production Operators to join the ranks of our esteemed client, a leading manufacturer specializing in air-insulated Medium Voltage Switchgear, Compact and Mobile Substations, Control Panels, Low Voltage Distribution Boards, Automatic Transfer Switches, and Automatic Voltage Regulators. 🔌🔋
The role of the Production Operator is to manufacture, assemble, and inspect products in accordance with the Manufacturing Schedule and as indicated by the Production Supervisor, ensuring that all activities are carried out according to the relevant procedures and instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Following instructions and drawings to assemble products always complying with health and safety procedures.
- Ensuring that products are manufactured in line with set quality standards.
- Compiling manufacturing records on computerized systems.
- Maintaining a clean and organized working environment and wearing personal protective equipment.
Requirements:
- Good verbal and written skills in the English language.
- Have an O’ level standard of education or as a minimum, a school leaving certificate.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings will be considered an asset. (Training will be provided.)
- Be self-motivated and work well as a team player.
- Diligent and with good attention to detail.
- Capable of following standard operating procedures and able to work cautiously and safely.
- Computer literate.
