Job Overview:

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management within the construction industry and be capable of handling complex financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
• Coordinate, analyze, and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
• Prepare and present detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage the company’s budget and forecast processes.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
• Provide strategic financial advice to support business decisions.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; a Master’s degree or professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
