Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Data-warehouse & reporting developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.

Your tasks

  • Development and maintenance of Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW);
  • Design, test and implementation of data flows and data pipelines solutions;
  • Data modelling;
  • Design and development of reporting applications;
  • DB performance analysis;
  • Create business architecture models;
  • Design of Data Quality and Monitoring processes.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT or relevant, combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years;
  • At least 5 years of experience in Data modelling;
  • At least 2 years of cloud-based ETL and data integration service experience and cloud-based build, testing and release experience;
  • Excellent knowledge of data warehouse design & architecture;
  • Excellent knowledge of relational database systems applied to data warehouse;
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL;
  • Excellent knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools;
  • Good knowledge of ETL/data flows tools;
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture tools such Enterprise Architect;
  • Object Oriented programming;
  • Very good knowledge in modelling and graphical representations and abstractions;
  • In depth knowledge of information systems and Data Warehouse;
  • In depth knowledge of Business Intelligence matters;
  • Experience with complex application environments;
  • Experience with Oracle RDBMS;
  • Experience of Workflow applications;
  • Experience with data migration and data flows in the cloud (AWS, Azure);
  • Experience with Python;
  • Excellent command of the English language, French is an advantage.
