Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive, positive, and professional Business Development Associate to join their team in Birkirkara, Malta. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development, helping build a database of potential business partners, assist with automated outreach, and contribute to structuring a more efficient sales pipeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential business partners and collaboration opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive database of potential business partners.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to attract new business partners.
  • Support automated outreach efforts to potential partners via email, phone, and other channels.
  • Support preparing presentations to potential partners.
  • Assist in drafting proposals and other business documents.
  • Work closely with the whole team to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Analyse market trends and provide insights to inform business development strategies.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions with partners and manage CRM systems.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in business development and sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Strong professional ethics.
  • Must be located in Malta.
  • Must be an EU citizen
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, English level B2-C1 and ideally Maltese native

Compensation:

  • This is a paid position, with a salary according to the national standards, depending on experience.
  • The minimum duration is 3 months, with preference for candidates available longer as it can turn into an indefinite contract
