Our client, a dynamic and growing company in the electrical and plumbing industry, is seeking a motivated Assistant Purchasing Executive to join their expanding team. This role is integral to the smooth operation of the purchasing department and offers excellent growth opportunities. 🚀
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage Purchase Orders for electrical and plumbing goods, ensuring timely and accurate procurement from suppliers.
- Coordinate logistics for shipping and customs clearance, ensuring consignments are processed efficiently.
- Monitor stock levels to track re-ordering needs and assist in maintaining optimal inventory.
- Assist in stock takes, ensuring accuracy and proper stock management across the department.
- Support the Electrical Trade Counter by providing customer assistance at the Point of Sale when needed, including participation in the Saturday morning roster.
Key Qualifications:
- Fluent in both Maltese and English (verbal and written communication).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, with a strong ability to manage emails and other computer tasks.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing multiple tasks.
- Experience in a similar purchasing role or knowledge of the electrical/plumbing sectors is an asset but not required.
