Job Description

🌟 Our esteemed client, operating within the dynamic retail industry, is currently in search of a proficient Accounts Clerk to integrate into their expanding team. 🌟

Responsibilities:

  • Posting of sales and purchase invoices and any other day-to-day financial transactions in the respective ledgers
  • Processing of supplier payments
  • Creditor statement reconciliations
  • Cash reconciliations
  • Carrying our general bookkeeping duties
  • Posting and reconciling of bank receipts and payments
  • Assisting with monthly financial reporting
  • Assisting with payroll and the necessary processing of payments
  • Assisting in the year end audit
  • Executing control procedures
  • Any other duty which may be required from time to time

Skill-sets and Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of experience in a similar role
  • Minimum Advanced level in Accountancy
  • Familiarity with Accounting software
  • Previous experience in a retail environment would be considered an asset
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools especially Excel
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Maltese and Italian.
  • Possess excellent intrapersonal skills and able to meet tight deadlines
