Job Description
🌟 Our esteemed client, operating within the dynamic retail industry, is currently in search of a proficient Accounts Clerk to integrate into their expanding team. 🌟
Responsibilities:
- Posting of sales and purchase invoices and any other day-to-day financial transactions in the respective ledgers
- Processing of supplier payments
- Creditor statement reconciliations
- Cash reconciliations
- Carrying our general bookkeeping duties
- Posting and reconciling of bank receipts and payments
- Assisting with monthly financial reporting
- Assisting with payroll and the necessary processing of payments
- Assisting in the year end audit
- Executing control procedures
- Any other duty which may be required from time to time
Skill-sets and Requirements:
- Minimum two years of experience in a similar role
- Minimum Advanced level in Accountancy
- Familiarity with Accounting software
- Previous experience in a retail environment would be considered an asset
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools especially Excel
- Excellent communication skills in English, Maltese and Italian.
- Possess excellent intrapersonal skills and able to meet tight deadlines
