Job Description

A company is seeking to recruit a full-time Procurement Administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support in acquiring IT-related goods and services. This role involves overseeing procurement processes, maintaining detailed records, and assisting in contract negotiations and administration, ensuring full compliance with company policies and procedures. The Procurement Administrator will collaborate with suppliers, internal departments, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Process:

  • Coordinate the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring all approvals align with company policies.
  • Track and manage orders to ensure timely delivery, resolving any issues that arise.

Contract Management Support:

  • Assist in reviewing and managing IT contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Maintain the database of IT contracts and agreements.
  • Monitor contract performance and support timely renewals.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement transactions.
  • Prepare documentation for audits and reviews.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the IT department to understand needs and priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of IT products and services is a plus.
