Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Cloud Operations Specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Italy. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.

Your tasks:

  • Install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot middleware systems hosting;
  • Manage complex SOA and heterogeneous systems;
  • Define configuration management and deployment strategies for SOA infrastructure;
  • Design and implement DevSecOps capabilities as well as ensure availability and stability of production environments;
  • Support both daily operations for relevant services and contribute to the execution of new projects.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 7 years;
  • More than 3 years of experience in Kubernetes platform (Openshift, Docker Swarm) and DevOps platform (Gitlab);
  • More than 3 years of expertise in Server virtualisation Platform (VMware) and Automation platform (Ansible AWX, Gitlab pipelines);
  • More than 3 years of experience in Application server (Tomcat, Apache) and Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL);
  • More than 3 years of expertise in Security (Tenable) and GIS tools (ArcGIS);
  • Technical knowledge related to the management of DevSecOps methodologies and Cloud services;
  • Proven experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) processes;
  • Strong knowledge of cloud and containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift;
  • Familiarity with modern deployment pipelines and automation tools;
  • Certifications in Red Hat OpenShift Administration and VMware data center virtualization are required;
  • Excellent command of the English language.
