Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Technical duties: perform unit control diagnostic, use and manage of scan, sensors, lines, actuators diagnosis, etc…
  • Follow flowchart and troubleshooting diagrams
  • Fill in work orders and follow up requests sent to the storehouse
  • Use of specific equipment for diagnosis (OBD, scanners)
  • Perform diagnostics on vehicle electrical/electronic breakdowns and incidences
  • Carry out general maintenance, service and repairs duties on electrics/electronics efficiently
  • Ensure that diagnostics and repairs performed on vehicles are safe and reliable, and fulfill government standard requirements
  • Filling out job cards or any other documentation related to the job to fully assure traceability
  • Ensure effective cleaning and organization of work areas and tools at all times, including hazardous wastes management
  • Ensure compliance to policies namely security, health and safety, data protection, quality assurance and eco-friendly established in the area of responsibility
  • Follow the Team Supervisor’s instructions
  • Carry out other duties that can be allocated or delegated by Management.

Requirements:

  • A post-secondary level of education
  • Intermediate level in either English, Maltese or Spanish
  • Three (3) years of working experience in electronic maintenance and repair of industrial vehicles with euro 6 engines
  • Teamwork
  • Organization at work
  • Problem diagnostics and detection
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Preventive maintenance advanced knowledge
  • Specialized knowledge of Mechanic
