Job Description
Our client’s team is expanding and is currently seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to join us. 📈The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:
- Reviewing insurance and general accounting entries leading to monthly preparation and review of Management accounts
- Coordinating the timely submission of monthly accounting data from third-party local and international insurance managers in connection with our protected cell insurance operation
- Financial reporting, and assisting in the annual forecasting and budget process
- Assisting in the completion of Solvency II and other regulatory returns and the completion of annual audits
- Provide guidance & supervision to the accounting team
- Recommend and undertake continuous system and process improvements to improve efficiencies and ensure quality service

- Be flexible and deadline-conscious
Job Requirements:
- Applicants must be in possession of an Accounting qualification (University Degree, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years working experience within the finance function. Experience in Insurance Accounting and IFRS 17 will be considered an asset
- IT and data proficiency
