Overall Programme Description 

This programme allows learners to become knowledgeable and skilful within the field of business and management. The programme shall reflect the main components of business management including operations, marketing, human resources, and customer relationship management. The core modules of this programme allow learners to analyse and assess various business problems and opportunities and use tools which are applicable to different organisations and different industries and sectors.

Target Group

Individuals aspiring an executive or future management position within the field of business and management. Learners who have successfully acquired this qualification, shall be able to apply within the fields of business and administration, holding junior and intermediate positions such as:

• Sales Executive
• Marketing Executive
• Business Development Executive
• Clerk/Administration Department

Learners shall have the opportunity to further their studies by following the final parts (the remaining 120 ECTS) of the Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (offered by eie) or any other Bachelor degree in Administration or Management, and any other related subject. This programme does not lead to a regulated or warranted profession.

• Academic Writing and Research Skills (12 ECTS)
• Strategic Human Resource Management (12 ECTS)
• Customer Relationship Management (12 ECTS)
• Marketing for Managers (12 ECTS)
• Operations Management (12 ECTS)

Entry Requirements

Learners must be in possession of a minimum:

(a) Matriculation certification (MQF level 4) full qualification (or an equivalent qualification) OR

(b) Diploma in Business Management at MQF Level 4 full qualification or an equivalent qualification AND

Proficient in English and in possession of IELTS 6.5 or higher (or an equivalent English qualification – if unavailable, students may apply for our English for Academic Purposes Course)

Awarding Body & Accreditation

This qualification is awarded by eie European Business School and is accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA).

MFHEA deems this Undergraduate Diploma to be at MQF Level 5 (60 ECTS) of the Malta Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning.
