About the Role
Are you an organised, multilingual professional with a passion for helping people in challenging situations? Outreach Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistance Co-ordinator to join a dynamic international assistance operations team based in Floriana, Malta.
In this full-time, on-site role, you will organise and deliver end-to-end assistance services to policyholders worldwide, managing complex, time-sensitive medical and logistical cases with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate case logistics based on clinical guidance from the medical team
- Manage hospital admissions, procedure approvals, and financial arrangements with providers
- Organise repatriation logistics including flight bookings and accommodation
- Handle deceased case management with sensitivity and protocol adherence
- Liaise with suppliers and manage costs in line with company policy
- Issue payment guarantees to medical providers worldwide
- Maintain accurate case documentation and system records
- Ensure regulatory and administrative compliance throughout all case activities
Requirements
- Fluency in French, Arabic, and Italian (written and spoken) — essential
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and organisational abilities
- Proficiency with case management systems
- Empathetic and professional demeanour under pressure
Desirable Experience
- Background in customer service or claims handling
- Experience in insurance or medical assistance operations
- Knowledge of FCA regulations and Treating Customers Fairly principles
Working Hours
37.5-hour working week on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
