About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Direct repair, maintenance, and installation work on vessels and in shipyard facilities.
- Lead teams of mechanics, fitters, and technical specialists.
- Monitor progress against project schedules and milestones.
- Manage equipment overhaul, repair, and replacement tasks.
- Handle engines, pumps, compressors, valves, and auxiliary shipboard systems.
- Ensure adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
- Plan and execute dry-docking and refit activities.
- Coordinate with clients, surveyors, and classification societies.
- Administer tools, equipment, and workforce assignments.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in marine mechanical maintenance or ship repair.
- Prior supervisory role in shipyard or industrial mechanical operations.
- Proficiency with marine machinery and shipboard systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
- Familiarity with ship repair projects and dry-docking procedures.
- Knowledge of shipyard safety regulations and industry standards.
- Strong leadership and communication ability.
